Tac Z. Lee, MD, FACS

After more than two decades of being a pioneer in the field of ophthalmology, Dr. Tac Z. Lee has made the difficult decision to retire.  Dr. Lee’s last day of patient care was May 3rd, 2024.  As an organization, we are grateful to Dr. Lee for his contributions to the field of ophthalmology. His legacy at Lee Eye Center is not forgotten.  Lee Eye Center continues to offer the World Class Care that our community has become accustomed to.

Dr. Lee is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in corneal, refractive and cataract surgeries. He attended the University of North Dakota Medical School, followed by an internship in Fargo, North Dakota. He completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Minnesota in 2002. He elected to stay on to do a fellowship training to specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of the cornea, refractive errors, and cataracts. He performed numerous research projects and received Harry Friedman Award for best research presentation.

Dr. Lee has performed over 40,000 cataract surgeries, LASIK, corneal transplants and other eye surgeries with excellent outcomes. Dr. Lee serves as a clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology in the Northeastern Ohio University’s College of Medicine.

Dr. Lee sees patients at all of our locations.
