Shamik Bafna, MD

Shamik Bafna, MD is a board certified ophthalmologist who completed a one-year fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery after his ophthalmology residency. Dr. Bafna has extensive experience treating cataract and laser vision correction patients. He has published and presented several peer-reviewed papers in ophthalmology including two chapters on laser vision correction. He has received numerous honors including the prestigious Heed Ophthalmic Foundation Fellowship award.

In addition Dr. Bafna has a unique perspective in treating his patient having had the LASIK procedure himself. Dr. Bafna currently resides with his wife. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and has visited more than 25 countries.
