Matthew C. Willett, MD
Matthew Willett, M.D. is a leading innovator in the treatment and management of glaucoma. A highly skilled cataract surgeon in addition to his glaucoma expertise, Dr. Willett is one of the first surgeons in the area to perform iStent surgery, a microscopic procedure that enables the treatment of some types of glaucoma during cataract surgery.
A fellowship-trained glaucoma surgeon, Dr. Willett has been selected to participate in several FDA clinical trials and has contributed numerous articles to scientific and medical journals. He presently serves as a Clinical Instructor of Surgery at the Northeast Ohio Medical University.
Dr. Willet enjoys spending time with his 2 children along with woodworking, hiking, weightlifting, and fishing. He resides in Akron.
