Dr. Carla Darak-Bolino is a native of Warren, Ohio, and a graduate of John F. Kennedy High school. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Kent State University, and her Doctorate in Optometry and Bachelor of Science Degree in Visual Science from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Il. She specializes in contact lens fittings, pre and post-operative care, and the treatment and management of ocular disease, including cataracts, glaucoma, dry eyes, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.
After practicing in Chicago for five years, Dr. Darak-Bolino returned to the Warren/Youngstown area, where she proudly calls home. Throughout her career, she has focused on giving back to the community, volunteering her time providing eye care to elementary students in Chicago and Youngstown, caring for the visual needs of Special Olympics participants, and providing eye care at the Remote Area Medical Clinic in Ashtabula County. Care, compassion, and integrity form the basis of her principles, and her focus has always been on building patient relationships.
When not in the office, Dr. Darak-Bolino enjoys spending time with her husband, two incredible sons, and the best dog in the world.
